Hilary’s event brought together people who were mostly strangers to each other, and she found it to be a humbling experience as attendees offered generous conversation and shared both hard and beautiful things – showing that accepting the intention to be vulnerable can pave the way to new perspectives and a more expanded capacity for compassion.
